Exterior header fabric (this is the fabric above the zipper) and zipper pull: 1 fat eighth
-
Exterior backing fabric: 1 fat quarter

Interior lining fabric: 1/2 yard

1/2 yard Pellon 987FP fusible fleece

If making a thread bed:
-
Coordinating fat quarter OR leftover lining fabric from your project bag

1/3 yard 72F Peltex Two-Sided Fusible Ultra Firm Non-Woven Stabilizer (you'll only need a piece that's 12" x 8")
-
Scrap of 100% white cotton batting measuring 10"x14" (will be trimmed down during construction)
-
I use Warm and White; I'd recommend visiting your local craft store for this!
-
-
Scrap of coordinating felt measuring at least 3"x3.5" (will be trimmed down during construction)
-
You can purchase an 8x11 sheet from your local craft store for less than $.50!
-

1 set of size 20 extra long plastic snaps in a color of your choice (I HIGHLY recommend KAMsnaps!)
-
Pliers to install snaps, such as these if you're ordering your snaps from KAMsnaps
-
I use this set I purchased from Amazon. You may need to determine which rubber socket will fit the snaps you're using.
-

You will also need basic sewing supplies, including a zipper foot for your sewing machine, a rotary cutter, cutting mat, quilting ruler, Clover Wonder Clips or something similar, scissors, and coordinating 50wt cotton thread.
